| Right some of you may have heard of the Ramsgate tunnels and those of you local or who have done a little research will know that they are split into three doable sections Main tunnel section Cannon road section Westcliff section The main tunnel section was cut off from what is known as the cannon road section by a massive roof fall at the boundry road park and from what I can gather from talking to people of the age whod remember and doing some research this would have probably happened in the late 70‘s.The cannon road section is cut off from the westcliff section with a rather noticeable sewer pipe which from memory as my road was dug up at time all parts of the pipe where laid was early 90’s..which in doing so completely blocked Ellington road and the park entrances !There is rumour of an entrance along by the registry office and of a section past Ellington road up to the jam factory and the “alleged” southwood recreation ground entrance and along to the refuse destructor which would have been in the area of the railway depot! Right having said all that this report is abut cannon road section. This being the only section I havnt done even tho im told the westcliff section is easier yet has had less visitors,Right im not gunna go into details of entry other than its how we got in.J Right visited with UncleBulgaria,NiteWalker..and man of mystery Wayne!! And as we waited for all partys to gather some other people I know popped down to say hi..obs ,knox and fatjames…we talked entry was gained and as myself and uncle Bulgaria entered wayne and night walker stayed up top and chatted with as I like to call them the usual suspects..ten mins later due to a wee bit of noise 2 police in a car turned up..knox being the law abiding citezan he is offered to alert us that we needed to come out..which we all did slowly.Quick chat with male and female officer and on our way we went….great evening I have know done all three sections and enjoyed doing so!!Sorry to the 2 who didn’t get a go!! also didnt get pics on way back of entrance area and junction to ellington road as we had fuzz waiting above ground for us!! capped off exit to chatham house school concrete lined section leading towards the roof fall at st lukes/boundry road park just before absolute roof fall above location Lined section leading towards the backfilled entrance/exit at school lane old st geaorges school building stair case up to backfill Back filled entrance!! On our way back thru just before we where met by knox bringing us news the police where waiting.. Thanks for looking!!police are now very very hot on entrance and i assume will be sealed very soon as week before some chavs where caught trying to get in !!

| Was it just bad luck they happened to be passing or had someone called? Guess another option would be an alarm got triggered | |
