A short report on a few places dover and folkstone

Right wasnt gunna do this post cos the main bit we went to see st mratins kinda placed obsicles for my 2 friends i got in but as they could ended up coming out again visited a place in folkstone the name of which escapes me cos i was in the back of van..2nd spot we visited was given info from a local..bit naff as it was just a staircase leading down a tunnel to a small room with an exit at end of,i personanly do not like heights cliff edges nor the 45 degree angles and narrow pathways leading in and out so my arse was flapping to the point i may have shouted "i want my mummy"..did it tho and if anyones recognsies the tunnel and knows about it do tell..right not many pics so short report

nice couple of explores you have done there. The one in folkestone is called road of rememberance bunker. I think there may be a post of it on here

obs i was tired not well and had to walk near a 200 foot cliff..wasnt my best night..pictures 2/3 and 4..was something a man in carpark pointed out can find any info on it ,other than it freaked me out cos route back was up 45 degree slope near cliff edge and everything i grabbed to pull up on broke,,shit meself lol..but from st martins shelter which andy b and darryl could climb in this place wasnt far atall carpark right next to it??any ideas

yes, i believe this is located to st.martins...just the other side of the carpark down in the trees?
If so then it leads down to a set of doors that lead to a brick wall with a breach in it. This is the hospital postern

yeah obs had a few reply on os and is indeed the spot..lots of bits of cars and to get to the top entrance by gate we walked way too lose to the edge of cliff for me..

christ, that was a quick reply lol. Yes they visited it last year and thought it was a 'new' tunnel lol. then i told em it was the hospital postern. There isnt much history on the place but reference to it can be found on the internet.

this time of the morning im sat infront of pc drinking tea..yeah when i googled it all i got was forum posts..i like dover that Dumpy sounds like a blast;)..right school run shopping catch u again soon mate
